Location: Finstown, Orkney | Sector: ESS
We are looking for a reliable and professional Site Access Controller to support the safe and secure operation of a busy construction site. This role is key to controlling site access, maintaining accurate records, and promoting a strong safety culture.
What you'll do
Control and monitor site access and exit points
Verify identification and authorisation of staff, visitors, and contractors
Maintain accurate access records and logs
Challenge unauthorised access politely and professionally
Monitor vehicle movements and report incidents or concerns
Liaise with site management and support daily site operations
Maintain a visible, friendly, and professional presence
What we're looking for
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Flexible to work varied hours, including nights or weekends if required
Committed to health, safety, and high standards
Desirable
Experience in a similar role
No SIA licence required
Uniform and PPE provided.
