Manager, Technical, Hazardous Waste

I. Job Summary Provides technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility permits. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides regulatory and technical guidance to sales, approvals, customer service, and operations personnel.
• Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.
• Works with regulatory agencies to obtain reasonable permit conditions and other requirements.
• Develops, implements, and maintains systems to support and monitor compliance and minimize risk.
• Reviews and signs environmental and other reports and project submittals.
• Reviews all waste approvals and provides second signature authorization.
• Provides technical assistance to operations in order to improve existing or develop new treatment methods. Develops and maintains written documents and/or plans.
• Maintains a technical communication network amongst various coordinators, and participates in community out-reach efforts.
• Oversees personnel needs including selecting, coaching, and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
• Submits reasonable budget information and analyzes data versus year-to-date data and prior year budget.

III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree,
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 7 years of prior work experience (in addition to education requirement).

☒ Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Pay: The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $95,700 - $121,990 per year. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
