About Ackcio

Ackcio is a Singapore-based company building wireless monitoring systems for geotechnical and structural health monitoring. Our hardware and software run on tunnels, bridges, dams, mines and metro projects worldwide. India is one of our busiest markets, and today we run it entirely from Singapore, with no one on the ground.

The role

This is a hands-on, field-based role, not a desk job and not a management seat. You are our presence in India: you get to site, meet our resellers and clients face to face, chase open deals for real answers, and give us a straight read on what is actually happening. You work hand in hand with our APAC business development lead and the Singapore management office, who set direction and make the big calls.

What you will do

• Meet our resellers, consultants and clients in person and build real relationships
• Get to project sites and see conditions, stakeholders and competition first-hand
• Chase open deals for the truth: what is live, what is stuck, and why
• Support installation, commissioning and troubleshooting on the ground
• Handle technical questions in the room and scope the right Ackcio setup for the site
• Track tenders, pricing, competitors and who really decides
• Report back to Singapore clearly and often

What we are looking for

• Hands-on field experience in geotechnical instrumentation, structural health monitoring, or infrastructure monitoring
• Strong knowledge of the India infrastructure ground: highways and NHAI, metros, hydropower, mining, tunnels, and how resellers, consultants and contractors operate
• Comfortable both on site and in front of clients
• Both technical and commercial: can scope a solution and move a deal
• A direct, honest communicator who gives a clear read, not a hedge
• Self-directed, and ready to travel across India at short notice

Nice to have

• Familiarity with wireless, IoT or LoRaWAN monitoring systems
• Existing relationships with site owners, consultants or resellers in Indian infrastructure
• Data skills, for example Python, for handling monitoring data
• Experience working with international or Western-style teams
