HOPEX v6 Admin (Enterprise Architecture – GEAR)

Location : Mphasis Bangalore, Global Village, Tower E/Chennai - DLF IT Park

Experience Required

4–6 years (hands-on experience in HOPEX / Enterprise Architecture tools)

Role Summary

We are seeking a HOPEX v6 Admin – Level 4 to independently manage administration and support of the GEAR platform.

This role includes end-to-end platform support, configuration, troubleshooting, and moderate enhancement ownership, along with coordination across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

HOPEX Administration (Core Ownership)

• Administer and maintain HOPEX v6 platform for stability and performance.

• Manage user roles, access controls, and governance policies.

• Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.

• Ensure application availability, performance, and reliability.

• Monitor:

o System logs

o Scheduled jobs

o Integrations and services

Platform Operations & Enhancements

• Handle incident, problem, and change management independently.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes.

• Support release deployments and configuration rollouts.

• Implement minor customizations and enhancements in HOPEX.

• Maintain platform documentation and operational runbooks.

AWS & Infrastructure (Working Level Expertise)

• Support AWS services including:

o EC2, S3, RDS, VPC

o IAM, Cloud Watch

• Monitor performance, cost, and security compliance.

• Assist in:

o Environment provisioning

o Backup & recovery

o Disaster recovery readiness

• Coordinate with cloud teams for improvements.

Security & Compliance

• Support remediation of:

o Vulnerabilities (OS, DB, middleware, app layers)

• Ensure platform compliance with enterprise standards.

• Assist in audit readiness and governance reporting.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with:

o Enterprise Architects

o Solution Architects

o Governance teams

• Provide user training and onboarding support.

• Act as a primary point of contact for platform support.

Skills & Expectations

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in:

o HOPEX (or similar EA tools)

o SQL (queries and debugging)

o Application support & configuration

• Good knowledge of:

o AWS (core services)

o ITIL processes

• Understanding of:

o Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Effective stakeholder communication

• Ability to work independently

• Attention to detail and governance mindset
