Pediatric Call Coverage

Start- End Date:

October 2nd, 3rd, 4th

October 19th

October 22nd - 25th

Provider required to arrive the day prior to first shift for orientation and EHR training.

Pediatric Call Coverage

OB/NICU Unit Level: Nursery coverage only when needed

Average Admissions per Day: 1 inpatient admission

Average Inpatient Census: 1 baby born per day

Required:

Board Certification Required: Yes - Board Certified Pediatrician

Required Certifications: BLS, PALS

DEA: Required

Will they License: Yes

Will they take IMLC: Yes

Additional Details:

• No ICU/Critical Care duties
• No ER backup coverage required
• No code response required unless in nursery
• Required attendance at C-sections when requested by OB provider

Procedures/Services:

• Nursery coverage when needed
• Pediatric inpatient care
• Attendance at C-sections when requested by OB provider
