About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager - Finance to manage financing-related activities, including lease and loan management, financial reporting, cash flow monitoring, and banking operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management, accounting, and financing arrangements, along with the ability to ensure timely payments, accurate records, and compliance with banking requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain finance lease amortization schedules, ensuring funds are available for timely monthly payments.
• Prepare segment-wise profit and loss statements and ensure accurate recording and allocation of expenses.
• Maintain up-to-date loan records, including repayment schedules, interest accruals, and outstanding balances.
• Coordinate with banks on day-to-day financing matters, including facility renewals, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor cash flows to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet loan and lease obligations.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting related to loans, leases, and other financing activities.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank and loan accounts with the general ledger (GL).
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and support internal and external audits as required.

Requirements

• MBA (Finance) or CA Inter or a relevant finance-related qualification.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of loan management, lease accounting, amortization schedules, and interest calculations.
• Experience dealing with banks on facilities, documentation, and compliance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet monthly reporting and payment deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and external banks
• Experience in cash flow monitoring, financial reporting, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate financial records.
