Freelance Babywear / Apparel Product Designer

Looking for a Freelance Babywear / Apparel Product Designer — Bengaluru / India

I’m building an early-stage baby clothing and products brand focused on solving practical everyday problems faced by babies and parents — particularly around comfort, fit, dressing, diaper changes and functionality.

I’m looking for an experienced apparel product designer to collaborate on early product development and prototypes.

Ideally, you have experience in:

• Babywear / childrenswear or functional apparel

• Garment construction, fit and pattern development

• Knits and stretch fabrics

• Functional closures, trims and detailing

• Technical flats, specification sheets and tech packs

• Working with pattern makers, sampling units and manufacturers

• Designing for comfort, washability and production feasibility

This is not primarily a fashion illustration or print-design role. I’m looking for someone who enjoys solving product and construction problems and can take an idea from problem statement → concept → prototype → production-ready specification.

Engagement: Freelance / project based initially

Location: Bengaluru preferred, but open to experienced professionals elsewhere in India
