This medical center provides dedicated radiation oncology services within a structured on-site clinic environment. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support coordinated oncology patient management. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during short-term day shift coverage periods, with preference for a single clinician to cover each full week of the assignment.

The area surrounding this assignment offers clinicians access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include the USS Lexington Museum, Padre Island National Seashore, and several state parks providing opportunities for nature exploration and water activities. The downtown district hosts recurring community events throughout the year, including live music, food festivals, and local cultural gatherings.

Clinicians will provide clinic-based radiation oncology services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at this on-site facility, with no hospital call requirements. Clinical responsibilities require demonstrated experience with SRS, SBRT, LDR, and Brachytherapy. Board certification in Radiation Oncology, an active state medical license, an active DEA, and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment. Clinicians must maintain a clean file for temporary privileges and are required to complete a 2 to 3 hour orientation prior to the first shift, which may be completed virtually.
