Scope:We are seeking an experienced, results-driven District Manager to oversee multiple convenience retail locations throughout the Chicagoland area. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth, maximizing profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and developing high-performing store leadership teams.The ideal candidate will bring strong multi-unit retail leadership experience, a hands-on management approach, and a proven ability to execute company initiatives while maintaining exceptional customer service, merchandising, safety, and operational standards.Responsibilities:Multi-Unit Operations: Oversee daily operations across multiple retail locations, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, operational procedures, and customer service expectations.Sales & Profitability: Drive top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability through effective store management, resource allocation, productivity improvements, and merchandising execution.Leadership & Talent Development: Recruit, train, coach, and develop General Managers and store teams, fostering accountability, employee engagement, and a strong pipeline of future leaders.Operational Excellence: Conduct regular site visits and audits to evaluate store performance, identify operational deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.Customer Experience: Maintain high standards for store cleanliness, serviceability, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction across all assigned locations.Merchandising & Promotions: Ensure consistent execution of promotional programs, pricing, signage, merchandising standards, and company sales initiatives.Performance Management: Establish clear expectations, address performance challenges, and partner with Human Resources and senior operations leadership on employee development and corrective actions.Financial Management: Utilize financial knowledge and operational performance indicators to improve store productivity, manage resources, and maximize profitability.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all locations adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, safety procedures, and established operational standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain effective relationships with store leadership, operations management, employees, customers, and vendors to support business performance and customer retention.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEMinimum 3 years of multi-unit leadership experience within retail or the convenience store industry strongly preferred.Proven track record of managing multiple retail locations and delivering operational and financial results.Strong leadership, coaching, employee development, and performance management capabilities.Solid understanding of retail financial management, merchandising, customer service, and operational compliance.Ability to identify operational challenges, implement solutions, and drive consistent execution across multiple locations.Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business applications.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. xzbcwsv Ability to travel throughout the Chicagoland area and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
