Litigation Associate | Securities & Complex Commercial Litigation | New York

Are you a skilled litigation attorney looking to take the next step in your career with a sophisticated securities and complex commercial litigation practice? National Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4-8 years of experience to join a dynamic team handling high-stakes disputes in both state and federal courts.
What You'll Do:
Conduct legal research and analysis on securities and complex commercial litigation matters using tools such as Westlaw.Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, and other litigation-related documents.Manage all phases of discovery, including document review, production, interrogatories, and exhibit preparation.Participate in depositions, court conferences, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and case management.Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, legal guidance, and case updates.Review and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and court rulings to support case objectives.
What You'll Bring:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active New York Bar admission in good standing; New Jersey admission is a plus.4-8 years of law firm experience focused on securities and complex commercial litigation.Strong command of civil procedure, evidence rules, and litigation practice in state and federal courts.Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.Experience with legal research platforms and case management software.Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, presentation, and client-service skills.A collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting critical deadlines.
