Job Title: Manager – Investment Research (Credit Research)

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Investment Research (Credit Research) to support global buy-side asset managers investing in US and European loans and bonds. The role involves leading credit research initiatives, delivering high-quality investment insights, managing client relationships, mentoring research teams, and ensuring timely execution of research deliverables. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, extensive experience in credit analysis, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee credit research for companies across US and European debt markets.
• Build, review, and maintain financial models, research reports, and screening tools.
• Conduct detailed analysis of capital structures, debt instruments, credit agreements, and bond indentures.
• Prepare earnings summaries, credit opinions, investment notes, and sector outlooks.
• Monitor macroeconomic, industry, and company-specific developments affecting investment decisions.
• Present research findings and investment recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Mentor, train, and review the work of junior analysts to maintain research excellence.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior investment professionals to support informed investment decisions.
• Drive process improvements and implement research best practices across the team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in credit research, investment research, or fixed-income research.
• Strong exposure to US and/or European capital markets.
• Deep understanding of corporate finance, capital structures, leveraged finance, and debt instruments.
• Expertise in reviewing credit agreements, bond indentures, and other debt documentation.
• Advanced financial modeling and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial databases such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, Refinitiv, or similar research platforms.
• Exposure to leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and corporate credit markets.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring research teams.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or an equivalent qualification.
• CFA designation or progress toward CFA certification is preferred.

Experience

• 6+ years of relevant experience in credit research, investment research, fixed-income research, or financial analysis, with demonstrated team leadership and client management experience.
