Associate Designer - Men's Graphics

We are hiring an Associate Designer specializing in Men's Graphics for a top fashion apparel company in NYC! This role is responsible for seasonally designing and executing their respective category assortment that relates to the concept and overall aesthetic for our customers.Pay $34/hrTemp-permResponsibilities:Research and create new trends in graphic design and production techniques.Create graphic design concepts and board presentations for each season.Collaborate on seasonal rig and provide graphic direction for the assortmentDraw and illustrate main body of graphics for all productsManage and provide art direction for supporting Design team members with graphic scale, concept and placement.Organize all graphics by season and conceptDevelop Linesheet and color scheme for each season's table and wall graphic tee programPerform other duties as required.Able to work in a hybrid environment, meaning that some work may be performed remotely but certain essential functions must be performed in-person/in-office based on the needs of the business. ? In person/in-office collaboration is required, the frequency of such in-person/in-office collaboration (e.g., portion of week, entire week) is dictated by business needs. Such collaboration includes work centralized around product development, milestone meetings, fittings, and approvals.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Graphic Design (or equivalent experience and education) ? Working knowledge of graphic designing software in a MAC environment.High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop5+ years related experienceKeen eye for color, trend, detail and constructionAble to multi task and prioritize based on business objectivesWorking knowledge of Illustrator and ExcelAbility to act as liaison between many departments; excellent communication and analytic skills. Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once. ?
