Exciting Opportunity Alert! HTC Global Services is hiring Senior SAP TM Consultant for an implementation project with short term travel to Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite).

Key Responsibilities
SAP S/4 HANA TM Transformation
Lead end-to-end transformation of transportation and logistics operations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA Embedded TM.
Define the product vision, roadmap, strategy, and implementation plan for Embedded TM solutions.
Ensure seamless integration of TM with procurement, warehouse operations, sales, and finance processes.
Product Management & Ownership
Take ownership of the Embedded TM solution post-implementation, ensuring continuous enhancement and optimization.
Manage the lifecycle of TM capabilities including transportation planning, execution, freight settlement, and reporting.
Act as the primary product owner and subject matter expert for SAP TM.
Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering
Collaborate with transportation planners, logistics teams, procurement, and IT stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
Conduct workshops to document transportation planning, freight management, and carrier management processes.
Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and milestone tracking to leadership teams.
Solution Design & Configuration
Lead the configuration and design of Embedded TM processes including:
Freight planning
Carrier selection
Transportation execution
Load optimization
Freight settlement
Transportation monitoring
Ensure smooth integration with SAP EWM, MM, SD, and Finance modules.
Testing, Validation & Go-Live Support
Coordinate testing activities including functional testing, integration testing, UAT, and performance testing for TM processes.
Ensure operational readiness and smooth Go-Live support for transportation operations.
Lead post-Go-Live hypercare and stabilization support activities.
Training & Change Management
Develop and deliver training programs for transportation planners, logistics users, and superusers.
Drive organizational change management to support adoption of optimized transportation processes.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
Monitor transportation KPIs, freight costs, and system performance to identify optimization opportunities.
Implement freight optimization, automation, and transportation efficiency initiatives.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain comprehensive documentation for TM configurations, integrations, and transportation processes.
Ensure compliance with logistics regulations, transportation standards, and customs requirements.
Collaboration & Team Leadership
Mentor and lead TM consultants and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams to support integrated logistics execution.
Risk Management & Reporting
Identify and mitigate transportation-related risks such as delivery delays, carrier constraints, and freight cost escalations.
Provide regular reporting and performance insights to senior management.
Required Experience, Qualifications & Certifications
Professional Experience
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Execution, including at least 3–5 years in SAP S/4 HANA Embedded TM implementations.
Proven experience in transportation management transformation projects and ECC to S/4 HANA migrations.
Strong experience in freight planning, transportation execution, and logistics optimization.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
SAP S/4 HANA Embedded TM certification is mandatory.
Project Management
Proven experience delivering large-scale SAP transportation and logistics projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Technical Expertise
Hands-on expertise in Embedded TM configuration including:
Transportation planning
Freight execution
Carrier management
Load optimization
Freight settlement
Strong knowledge of integration with EWM, MM, SD, and Finance modules.
Exposure to advanced freight optimization and logistics automation is desirable.
Preferred Experience
Experience in aviation, logistics, transportation, or large-scale supply chain environments.
Knowledge of international transportation compliance and customs procedures.
Experience integrating SAP TM with external logistics providers and 3 PL systems.
