Dentist Location: Huntington, Indiana (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity A growing nonprofit, community-based healthcare organization is seeking a General Dentist to join its expanding dental team in Huntington, Indiana . This is a brand-new position supporting the launch of a new dental facility. Compensation & Benefits Guaranteed Base Salary: $230,000 annually Sign-on Bonus: Starting at approximately $10,000 (negotiable based on candidate circumstances) Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500 Paid Time Off: 160 hours annually 10 Paid Holidays Continuing Education: $5,000 annual CME/Continuing Education allowance Approved continuing education time does not reduce PTO Reimbursement for: State Licensure DEA Registration CSR Registration Membership dues for up to two professional organizations annually Comprehensive health and retirement benefits package Visa Sponsorship Available Visa Sponsorship Qualified international candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive oral examinations and evaluations Diagnose and treat oral diseases and dental conditions Develop individualized treatment plans Interpret dental radiographs and diagnostic tests Administer local anesthesia Restore teeth with fillings and other restorative procedures Perform routine tooth extractions Provide non-surgical root canal therapy when appropriate Design and fit crowns, bridges, partial dentures, complete dentures, and other prosthetic appliances Prescribe medications including antibiotics and analgesics when clinically indicated Educate patients regarding preventive dental care and oral hygiene Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school Eligible for or able to obtain Indiana dental licensure Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills Preferred Experience in General Dentistry (new graduates encouraged to apply) GPR or AEGD training preferred but not required Community Health Center or FQHC experience preferred Passion for serving rural and underserved populations Mentorship Available New graduates are encouraged to apply.
