Revati Craft is a premium leather goods manufacturer based in Kolkata, specializing in OEM, ODM, and private label manufacturing for international brands. We design and manufacture handbags, wallets, travel goods, laptop bags, and small leather goods for customers across global markets with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, and innovation. Role Overview

We are looking for a highly creative and technically strong Leather Goods Designer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing leather bags and accessories for export markets. The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of fashion trends, construction techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.

This role requires someone who can transform concepts into production-ready products while working closely with buyers, sampling teams, and production. Key Responsibilities

Design handbags, wallets, backpacks, laptop bags, travel accessories, belts and small leather goods. Develop seasonal collections and customer-specific product ranges. Create detailed technical drawings, CADs, specifications, BOMs, and measurement sheets. Prepare production-ready tech packs for sampling and manufacturing. Research global fashion trends, colors, materials, trims and hardware. Source and recommend new leathers, fabrics, hardware and accessories. Work closely with pattern makers and sampling teams to ensure accurate execution. Coordinate sample development and implement buyer feedback. Ensure designs are commercially viable and manufacturable. Maintain design documentation and product libraries. Required Skills Minimum 5 years' experience in leather goods design. Strong portfolio of handbags and leather accessories. Excellent knowledge of leather types, trims, hardware and construction methods. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop . Experience creating technical drawings and specification sheets. Understanding of export buyer requirements and product development cycles. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple collections and deadlines. Preferred Experience working with international buyers. Knowledge of luxury and contemporary handbag trends. Exposure to 3 D product visualization or CLO3 D is an advantage. Understanding of costing and manufacturing processes. What We're Looking For Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail.
