Inside Sales Representative Solar this is not a remote or hybrid position) Type: Full-Time Schedule: MondayFriday; some evening availability required, as many customers are best reached after standard business hours Compensation: $50,000/year ($25/hr) draw against commission The Role As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll work from our Bainbridge office guiding warm, company-provided leads through the sales process for solar panel installations and heat pump systems. This is a consultative selling role you'll educate homeowners and business owners on their options, explain financing and available incentives, and help them make confident decisions about clean energy upgrades. No door-knocking, no cold calls just meaningful conversations with people who have already expressed interest. What You'll Do Contact and qualify company-provided leads via phone, email, and virtual meetings Conduct consultative phone and video presentations to assess customer needs and recommend solar and heat pump solutions Manage your sales pipeline and follow-up activities in our CRM system Guide customers through pricing, financing options, tax credits (such as the federal ITC), and projected energy savings Close residential and commercial solar and heat pump deals Coordinate with the installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff after each sale Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and available incentive programs What We're Looking For 13 years of sales experience (inside sales, phone sales, or a customer-facing consultative role) Experience in solar, HVAC, home improvement, or a related industry is a plus but not required; we provide thorough training Comfort explaining financial concepts such as financing plans, tax credits, and return on investment to customers Proficiency with CRM software and basic office tools Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized Compensation
