About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Data Modeler – Azure Data Engineering
Location: Bangalore
Work Model: Hybrid
Experience: 8 to 12 years
Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days
Data Modeler or Datawarehousing Expert:
In addition to Data Modelling skills, we would also need Data Engineering skill set with the technology experience in – Azure as specified in the skill set.
Skills
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture (includes dimensional modelling, data marts etc.)
Expertise in data modelling techniques (Kimball star schemas)
Ability to independently perform source to target mapping tasks , including complex data transformation logic
Good understanding of ingestion patterns and ETL processes
Strong SQL skill for data analysis, validation and troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and proactively and manage ambiguity
High attention to detail
Data Engineering Skills – Microsoft Azure : Azure Data factory / Synapse / MS Fabric, Pyspark/ Python / Databricks , Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2, Azure Key vault.
Exposure to any of the reporting tools – MS Power BI , Tableau, etc. Power BI is preferred.
