Design Intern

Company Description The College Access Program (CAP) supports students at partner schools in successfully navigating their college admissions and career planning journey. CAP has collaborated with over 220 schools and engaged with more than 450 universities to expand access to higher education options in India and internationally. The program focuses on providing unbiased information, updated admissions processes and timelines, and guidance on financial planning and scholarships where available. CAP’s mission is to equip students with essential knowledge and resources so they can make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. Role Description The Design Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The intern will assist in creating visual assets for print and digital communication, including brochures, presentations, social media graphics, and infographics that support CAP’s student outreach and counseling initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with program and counseling teams to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual content, conducting basic research to inform design decisions, and iterating on feedback to refine materials. The Design Intern will help maintain visual consistency across all CAP materials and contribute creative ideas to improve student-facing resources and campaigns. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Graphic Design and Graphics skills for creating clear and engaging visual materials. Candidates should possess Research skills to understand user needs, educational content, and design trends. Candidates should possess Architecture and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for structured layout thinking and detailed visual planning, where relevant. Basic proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar) is beneficial. Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Design, Visual Communication, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Interest in education, student support, or social impact initiatives is an advantage.
