The Role
This is price work, meaning your earnings reflect your productivity and quality.
The more efficiently you work, the more you earn — with realistic earnings between £1,500 – £3,000 per week.
You’ll be working across live sites and occupied buildings, carrying out both remedial works and installations.
Role Responsibilities:
Carrying out fire door remedial works (gaps, seals, ironmongery, closers, glazing, adjustments)
Installing fire-rated timber door sets and fire-rated screens
Ensuring all work meets BM TRADA / FIRAS and manufacturer standards
Recording completed work with photos and certification
Working professionally in occupied environments, maintaining high standards at all times
Role Criteria
Proven experience working on fire-rated doors and screens
Strong understanding of fire door compliance and remedial works
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent experience)
FIRAS / BM TRADA (or willingness to obtain)
CSCS Card
Full UK driving licence
Own tools
Self-motivated, reliable, and quality-driven
