Now Hiring: Microsoft Security, Compliance & Data Governance Consultant

Recurring Decimal is looking for a consultant who has implemented the Microsoft E5 and/or G5 security stack for real organizations. You’ll help clients secure their identities, devices and data, and strengthen their security posture. You’ll also guide them through the change that comes with it.

What we’re looking for

• Overall 8+ years IT Industry Experience with 4+ years of Microsoft 365 security experience, plus familiarity with HIPAA, NIST, CMMC, CJIS or SOC 2
• Hands-on E5 and/or G5 implementation experience across the Microsoft security stack
• SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400 or MS-500 certifications, plus experience with Sentinel or government (GCC / GCC High) environments is strongly preferred.
• A consultant’s mindset: you dig into the client’s business problem, recommend the right solution, and own the outcome
• Heavy client engagement: you’re confident leading workshops and explaining technical decisions to business leaders and executives
• A true team player: you share knowledge, support your colleagues, and succeed together
• Self-managed: you set your own priorities, manage your time across several engagements, and deliver without being chased

What you’ll do

• Implement the E5 / G5 security stack end to end, including Entra ID, the Defender suite, Intune and Microsoft Purview
• Design and enforce Conditional Access and authorization policies, along with MFA, Identity Protection and PIM
• Own security posture and governance: run Secure Score reviews and gap analyses, build remediation roadmaps, and apply Zero Trust
• Deploy data governance with Purview, including sensitivity labels, data classification, DLP and retention
• Lead client engagements from scoping and statements of work through deployment, training and adoption
