We're Hiring: General Manager – Operations | Surat

Are you passionate about creating measurable social impact while leading operations, finance, and governance? We are hiring a General Manager – Operations for a well-established philanthropic organization committed to driving sustainable community development across India.

Location: Surat, Gujarat (Preference for Gujarati candidates)

Experience: 3-5 Years (Mandatory experience in an NGO, Trust, or Foundation)

CTC: ₹20-40 LPA

Eligibility

Education: B. Com. (Mandatory) Additional qualification preferred: LLB, M. Com., MBA (Finance), or CA Excellent English communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Lead operational strategy and drive scalable social development programs aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation. Develop and manage MIS, dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders. Ensure statutory, legal, financial, and regulatory compliance while coordinating audits. Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, CSR partners, NGOs, trusts, foundations, and community leaders. Implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks using SROI, ESG, and SDG indicators. Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams. Drive field implementation across rural, tribal, and urban communities.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a mission-driven professional who brings:

Experience managing NGO, Trust, or Foundation operations. Strong expertise in operations, finance, compliance, and governance. Hands-on experience implementing community development programs. Exposure to education, healthcare, sustainability, livelihoods, or social development initiatives. Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills. Excellent analytical, reporting, and leadership capabilities.
