Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday moving to Tuesday-Saturday once fully trained.
We're looking for a Transport Co-ordinator to provide an effective administration service within the Transport Department. It's a small and busy team so we need someone who's flexible and well organised, with a real 'can-do' attitude.
What you'll do:
Ensure that the safe, efficient and on time movement of freight throughout the supply chain is undertaken.
Managing a number of priorities
Having strong coordination, planning and communication skills
Monitoring driver hours to ensure compliance with legislation
Stepping in to cover Transport Manager duties with people management duties when required
Promoting a strong health and safety culture across the team

What we are looking xrexnqw for:
Previous experience in transport and understanding of WTD, Driver hours and techographs
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A good understanding of budgets and financial processes
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
