Salary: SGD 4,000 per month
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Echo Technician (Echocardiography Technician / Cardiac Technologist) to join our cardiology team in Singapore. You will play a key role in performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (2 D Echo), Doppler studies, and stress echocardiography as required.
- Conduct related cardiac investigations such as ECG, Holter monitoring, and treadmill stress tests.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound/echocardiography equipment according to standards.
- Acquire high-quality images, record findings, and provide preliminary reports to cardiologists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., PDPA).
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital/clinic policies.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging, Cardiac Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Relevant certification in echocardiography (e.g., from accredited bodies) is preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac diagnostics (experience level may be relaxed for strong candidates).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills and a patient-centric approach.
- Registered with relevant professional bodies (if applicable) and committed to continuing professional development.
