Role Description

The Shorts AI Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Layyah District. In this position, the editor will create short-form video content optimized for social media platforms, using AI tools and editing software to produce engaging, high-impact visuals. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, editing clips into cohesive short videos, adding motion graphics and text overlays, and applying color grading to maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with the marketing team to align video content with campaign objectives, testing different formats for performance, and preparing videos for upload with appropriate aspect ratios and specifications. The editor is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality content within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing for short-form, social media-ready content.


• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual style.


• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging overlays, titles, and visual effects.


• Proficiency with common video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic AI video tools.


• Strong understanding of vertical and short-form content trends on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.


• Ability to work on-site in Layyah District, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams.


• Attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and the ability to follow brand guidelines and feedback constructively.


• Relevant education or demonstrated experience in video editing, media production, or digital content creation is preferred.
