Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Release Manager / Release Engineer to coordinate and manage enterprise software releases across development, testing, infrastructure, and production environments. This role is responsible for driving release governance, deployment readiness, change management, and release execution within a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate combines strong stakeholder management skills with experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-based deployment processes.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate application releases from development through production deployment.Manage release schedules across development, QA, infrastructure, security, validation, and business teams.Facilitate release readiness reviews and ensure completion of all required SDLC deliverables.Validate testing completion including UAT, regression, performance, and security testing.Drive releases through formal change management and governance processes.Identify release risks, deployment conflicts, and cross-team dependencies and develop mitigation plans.Execute and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.Support cloud-based deployment initiatives and platform migrations.Coordinate production deployments, implementation bridges, rollback planning, and release validation activities.Ensure release documentation, audit evidence, and compliance requirements are completed.Conduct post-release reviews and implement process improvements.Partner with engineering, operations, and platform teams to maintain release stability and reliability.Must-Have Qualifications5+ years of experience in Release Engineering, Release Management, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Change Management.Experience coordinating enterprise software releases across multiple teams.Strong understanding of SDLC, production deployments, and release governance.Experience managing release calendars, deployment schedules, and concurrent workstreams.Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment automation.Hands-on experience with Git-based source control platforms.Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar deployment platforms.Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.Experience working in regulated environments with defined compliance processes.Nice-to-Have QualificationsFinancial services or banking industry experience.Azure cloud deployment experience.GitLab administration or pipeline management experience.PowerShell scripting experience.Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives.Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.Prior deployment lead or release coordinator experience for production releases.Soft SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to manage competing priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Process-oriented mindset.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Effective stakeholder management and facilitation skills.\nCompany DescriptionThis client supports data centers through its infrastructure and engineering subsidiaries by providing mission-critical electrical, design, testing, and commissioning services.Company DescriptionThis client supports data centers through its infrastructure and engineering subsidiaries by providing mission-critical electrical, design, testing, and commissioning services.
