Ft Concert Hall in the heart of the city. With close to 1200-member seating capacity, it also features a 200-person capacity black box experimental theatre with an outdoor performance area and 3 versatile training rooms. Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall is one of the first halls in the city, with integrated, exceptional audio-visual and lighting equipment manned by trained technicians. This makes the Concert Hall a versatile venue for performances of every scale. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Who are we looking for: </b> </p><p>The Sound Engineer is responsible for planning, setting up, operating, maintaining, and </p><p>managing all audio systems for rehearsals, performances, and events, ensuring high-quality </p><p>sound and seamless technical execution. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b> </p><ul><li>Plan and coordinate all audio requirements for events and rehearsals. </li><li>Set up, operate, and manage audio systems during rehearsals and live performances. </li><li>Conduct sound checks, adjust audio levels, and troubleshoot technical issues. </li><li>Coordinate with artists, production teams, vendors, and internal departments. </li><li>Arrange additional audio equipment and technical support as and when required. </li><li>Maintain and update audio equipment, systems, and inventory. </li><li>Ensure all audio equipment is serviced, repaired, and in optimal working condition. </li><li>Research and recommend equipment upgrades and improvements. </li><li>Maintain accurate inventory and equipment usage records. </li><li>Ensure compliance with venue safety standards and support the overall execution of events. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Skills and Qualifications: </b> </p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of professional live sound systems, digital mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and audio networking. </li><li>Experience in live events, theatres, concerts, or similar venues. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently under pressure. </li><li>Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. </li> </ul><p><br /></p>
