We’re Hiring: General Manager | Komar Distribution Services

Komar Distribution Services (KDS) is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced, multi-client, omnichannel third-party logistics (3PL) environment.

This role owns operational performance, profitability, and the client experience across assigned facilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations & Client Services, the General Manager will lead operations teams, strengthen client partnerships, and drive improvements in productivity, service, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own overall performance and P&L across assigned warehouse operations, balancing service requirements, productivity, labor costs, and profitability.
• Lead distribution center management teams across receiving, inventory control, fulfillment, value-added services, shipping, and returns.
• Align staffing, resources, and operating plans with each client’s requirements.
• Analyze budgets and operating results, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent execution.
• Maintain safe operations, regulatory compliance, and adherence to corporate policies and operating standards.
• Develop and coach leaders, build effective teams, and strengthen the leadership pipeline.
• Manage all operational and compliance aspects of a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)

What You Bring

• 5+ years of successful leadership experience in a multi-client, omnichannel 3PL environment; apparel experience preferred.
• Experience running and understanding compliance of a Foreign Trade Zone
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, retail order fulfillment, transportation, and supply chain management.
• Demonstrated success managing financial and operational performance.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using large language models (LLMs) to support operational improvement.
• Project management experience and familiarity with Asana; PMP certification preferred.
