Head of Finance

Job SummaryDirect the financial affairs of the organization across a multi-entity, multi-brand portfolio. The Head of Finance is responsible for billing, payroll execution, and reconciliation of funds at both the operating company and brand level, along with maintaining internal P&Ls and balance sheets. This position leads the Reconciliations and Billing teams and reports directly to the Head of Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities•      Own billing for all brands and entities across the portfolio.•      Execute payroll accurately and on schedule each cycle.•      Reconcile funds at both the operating company level and the individual brand level.•      Maintain internal P&Ls and balance sheets and keep them current.•      Communicate with third-party vendors regarding the status of payments.•      Lead and develop the Reconciliations and Billing teams.•      Escalate payroll errors, reconciliation discrepancies, or billing issues affecting revenue reporting immediately.•      Partner with the Head of Operations on priorities, open items, and process or methodology changes.•      Provide assistance and support to other departments and upper management as needed.
Qualifications•      5+ years of professional experience in a finance leadership role (Controller, Director of Finance, or similar).•      Experience managing billing, payroll, and reconciliation for a multi-entity or multi-brand business.•      Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA and/or MBA a plus.•      Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and spreadsheet and reporting tools.•      Strong attention to detail and sound judgment on when to escalate.•      Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. xzbcwsv •      Experience in gaming, sweepstakes, or social casino industries is a plus.
