Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Electrical BIM Modeler role is based in Noida and focuses on electrical systems within multidisciplinary BIM and MEP projects. The Senior Electrical BIM Modeler will develop and manage detailed BIM models for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating construction drawings, coordinating with architecture and other MEP disciplines, and resolving clashes and design issues within the BIM environment. The role involves supporting design teams with accurate documentation, reviewing models for quality and technical correctness, and maintaining model integrity throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Electrical BIM Modeler will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to deliver timely, coordinated, and constructible electrical designs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model creation, coordination, clash detection, and adherence to BIM standards and workflows.
• Candidates should possess relevant skills in Architecture and MEP coordination, with the ability to integrate electrical models with architectural and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) designs.
• Candidates should possess advanced modeler skills for electrical systems, including layout, routing, and detailing of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems within BIM platforms.
• Candidates should possess experience in preparing and interpreting construction drawings, including shop drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation for electrical systems.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in electrical BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in relevant BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and best installation practices.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and capability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Noida.
• Experience in healthcare, education, or commercial building projects, and understanding of sustainability and safety considerations in electrical design, is beneficial.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Modeler with 4-5 years of experience in BIM modeling and electrical design support. The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining electrical BIM models for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and infrastructure projects. The role requires proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and electrical engineering standards, along with strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary project teams.Candidates with experience in Data Center projects and exposure to USA, UK, and Middle East standards and projects will be preferred.

Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.

Prepare electrical layouts, power distribution systems, lighting systems, cable tray routing, grounding, and fire alarm system models.

Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts.

Perform model quality checks and ensure compliance with project standards and BIM execution plans.

Generate construction drawings, shop drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.

Conduct clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.

Support engineers in design development and construction documentation.

Ensure adherence to local and international electrical codes and standards.

Guide junior modelers and support team development.

Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients and stakeholders when required.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

4-5 years of experience in electrical BIM modeling.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.

Proficiency in:

o Autodesk Revit MEP

o Navisworks

o AutoCAD

o BIM 360 / ACC (preferred)

Understanding of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and model coordination processes.

Knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC, IEC, or relevant regional standards.
