A well-established New York commercial law firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its sophisticated litigation team. The firm represents Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, businesses, lenders, and other sophisticated clients in complex commercial disputes.
The Role:Handle complex commercial disputes from inception through resolutionDraft and argue substantive motions in state and federal courtsTake and defend depositions, manage discovery, and handle court appearancesWork on high-value matters involving breach of contract, business disputes, fiduciary duties, partnership/shareholder issues, securities, and real estate
Ideal Background:Strong commercial/business litigation experienceExperience handling substantive litigation matters independentlyStrong motion practice, deposition, and courtroom experienceNY Bar admission required
