Positions open:-

• 3D Art Team Lead – 8+ yrs of experience

Responsibilities

Will be responsible for:

• Define and develop the overall visual style, tone, and artistic vision for 3D projects.
• Lead, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to a team of 3D artists, including modelers, texture artists, and animators.
• Work closely with game designers, and developers to ensure the art aligns with project goals and technical limitations.
• Define, develop, and maintain the 3D art pipeline and production workflow, ensuring efficient creation and integration of assets.
• Review all art assets and deliverables to maintain high artistic quality and consistency throughout the project.
• Create initial concepts, visual guides, and storyboards to communicate the artistic direction to the team and stakeholders.
• Ensuring all art deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new software, and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices and innovate production techniques.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor‘s degree in fine arts, graphic design, animation, or a related field is typically required.

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in 3D art production, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or senior artist role, preferably within the relevant industry

Skills and expertise

Technical skills:

• Expert proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush).
• Experience with texturing and sculpting tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Adobe Creative Suite).
• A solid understanding of real-time rendering engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of technical art fundamentals, such as modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and optimization.

Soft skills:

• The ability to develop and communicate an original and compelling visual style.
• Proven team management and mentorship skills to inspire and motivate artists.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting concepts and providing clear feedback.
• The ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Strong creative and critical-thinking skills to overcome technical and artistic challenges.
• A keen eye for visual quality and consistency to ensure high-fidelity results.
• Experience with AR/VR platforms.

Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
