To support a growing underwriting department, the full-time Senior Inland Marine Underwriter will manage a diverse portfolio, assess risks, determine premiums, and negotiate deals while working remotely or from specified locations. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain profitable Inland Marine books of business by writing new accounts and pursuing renewals Analyze data to determine risk selection, premiums, policies, and identify opportunities for growth and diversification Build and nurture relationships with agents and brokers, presenting proposals and negotiating deals effectively Required qualifications 5-8 years of relevant experience in underwriting or multi-line insurance products Bachelor's degree in a related field; Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter or similar designation preferred Strong command of insurance finance, actuarial concepts, and commercial insurance products Proficient in territory management and relationship building with agents and brokers Familiarity with continuous improvement processes and regulatory issues in relevant territories
