Experienced VMware & Windows Server Administrator to manage and support a large-scale virtualized environment with over 300+ virtual machines, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
About the Role
VMware Administration and Windows Server Administration responsibilities include managing and supporting a large-scale virtualized environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)
- Provision and manage virtual machines
- Monitor performance and resource utilization
- Manage HA, DRS, vMotion
- Perform migrations, snapshots, cloning
- Troubleshoot VMware issues
- Patch and upgrade infrastructure
- Manage Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO
- Handle patching and security updates
- Monitor server performance
- Troubleshoot OS issues
- Provide L2/L3 support
- Handle incidents and escalations
- Perform RCA
- Ensure SLA compliance
- Manage backup tools (Veeam, Commvault)
- Perform restores and DR drills
Qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech, Mtech, Msc
Required Skills
- VMware vSphere experience
- Windows Server administration
- Active Directory knowledge
- Experience with 300+ VMs
