TITLE Staffing Coordinator DESCRIPTION Expierenced Staffing Coordinator for Skilled Nursing Facility Job Summary: The Staffing Coordinator is entrusted with the responsibility toplete daily, weekly, and monthly work scles for the nursing staff in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards, under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Must have basicputer skills Must have functional knowledge and understanding of nursing scles and assignments Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and prores related to the nursing department Must perform proficiently in allpetency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and infection control and prevention Maintains professional working relationships with all employees, vendors, etc. Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information Must understand and followpany policies including harassment andpliance prores Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to JKV's Code of Conduct andpletes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriatepliance training Must be able to scle facility nursing staff at levels determined by State mandates and facility budget Must be able to prepare all shift scles andmunicate clearly to staff Must be able to understand State requirements for appropriate forecasting on OnShift Scling System Must be able toplete Nursing Hours Analysis with understanding of Hours PPD daily and weekly requirements Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents/patients Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment Must be able tomunicate and function productively with an interdisciplinary team Educational, Physical, and Other Requirements: Must pass Level 2 background screening through the Florida Clearinghouse (Learn more: info.flclearinghouse) Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Prior staff scling in health care preferred Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable amodations, Physical requirements may include frequent use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift, stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell. Vision abilities may require close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. For the safety and security of our residents and employees must be able to read, write, and verballymunicate in English, which is the most universally used language of our residents and employee population.
