Role Description The Head of Quality Control is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading the quality function across sheet metal fabrication and CNC manufacturing operations. This role oversees all quality control procedures, including inspection of incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product verification to ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable standards. The Head of Quality Control will design, implement, and refine quality management systems, develop standard operating procedures, and drive corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with production and engineering teams. Daily tasks include analyzing quality data, addressing non-conformities, conducting root cause analysis, and coordinating internal and external audits. The role also involves mentoring and training quality staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and working closely with customers on quality-related requirements and documentation.

Qualifications Strong quality control and quality assurance skills, with experience implementing and monitoring quality standards in manufacturing or fabrication environments. Proficiency in quality management, including developing and maintaining quality systems, SOPs, and documentation aligned with ISO and related certifications. Advanced analytical skills to interpret quality metrics, perform root cause analysis, and drive data-based corrective and preventive actions. Relevant laboratory or inspection skills, including use of measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment for metal and fabricated components. Prior leadership experience managing quality teams and collaborating with production, engineering, and customer-facing functions. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline; advanced qualifications in quality (e.g., Six Sigma, auditor certifications) are an advantage. Hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, CNC processes, or similar industrial settings, preferably within ISO-certified organizations. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to train and coach team members on quality best practices.
