Location: Bogalusa, LouisianaSalary: $104,000–$125,000Employment: Permanent | Full-time | On-site
We're recruiting a Reliability Engineer for an established industrial manufacturing operation in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
This position is focused on improving equipment reliability, reducing unplanned downtime and developing more effective maintenance strategies.
We want an Engineer who understands why equipment fails, can investigate recurring problems and has the technical ability to implement lasting improvements.
What you'll be doingDevelop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programmes.Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and equipment failure investigations.Use vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography and other condition-monitoring techniques.Improve equipment availability, reliability and maintenance costs.Analyse failure trends, maintenance data and equipment performance.Develop reliability strategies using FMEA, RCM and continuous improvement principles.Improve CMMS effectiveness and maintenance planning.Work directly with maintenance, engineering and production teams to resolve recurring equipment problems.
What we're looking forBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.At least 3 years' experience in reliability, maintenance or engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.Practical experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.Strong understanding of RCA, equipment failure analysis and reliability improvement.Experience using CMMS systems and analysing maintenance performance.Ability to work directly with maintenance technicians and production teams.
We're interested in Engineers from pulp and paper, chemicals, refining, heavy manufacturing and other equipment-intensive industries.
