Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor

b Overview /b p In this role you will support UK HS W Strategy delivery and oversee safety plans at business/project levels. You will help achieve HS W KPIs, assist bid responses with safety content, and investigate incidents in line with group standards. You will define project-specific risk-based SLAs, conduct site inspections, and report HS W performance through the Project Portal. Your work ensures safe operations and compliant risk management across projects and client reporting. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Smart working and up to 40% remote working /li li 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata) /li li family friendly policies (maternity/adoption leave, paternity/partners leave) /li li Pension /li li share incentive plan /li li volunteering leave /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Support delivery and review of the UK HS W Strategy and related action plans at business/project level /li li Assist work-winning teams with HS W responses for bids, proposals and PQQs /li li Provide expert support to investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses per standards /li li Develop local risk-based Service Level Agreements for each project with quarterly reviews /li li Conduct regular site inspections according to project risk matrix /li li Produce formal HS W reports using Project Portal and monitor performance against regulatory and BMS requirements /li li Ensure HS W data is available and reportable to the client monthly /li li Perform regular health and safety risk management checks to identify and implement risks and opportunities /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Relevant health and safety qualifications /li li Willingness to travel /li li Experience of complex construction and civils projects /li li Ability to influence and promote a positive HS W culture /li li Competence in incident investigation /li li Strong understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulatory Framework and experience in HS W Business Management Systems /li li Ability to prepare formal written reports on HS W topics /li li Ability to undertake project planning and project management /li li Commitment to continual learning to add distinctive value /li li Ability to engage and converse at all levels /li /ul ul li ability to influence and promote a positive HS W culture /li li engagement and communication at all levels /li li continual learning mindset /li li UK Health and Safety Regulatory Framework /li li HSW Business Management System (BMS) /li li incident investigation /li /ul
