Location: Jefferson City, TNPay: $60,000–$70,000 annuallySchedule: 1st Shift | Monday–FridayEmployment Type: Full-Time
About the OpportunityAegis Worldwide is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer for a well-established manufacturing company in the Jefferson City, TN area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their engineering career while working directly with production teams to improve quality, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesInvestigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.Support manufacturing operations and resolve production-related quality issues.Develop and maintain PPAP documentation, Control Plans, and PFMEAs.Assist with internal and customer quality audits.Utilize SPC and other quality tools to monitor and improve processes.Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to maintain product standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.Experience in manufacturing or quality engineering; relevant internships considered.Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and root cause analysis.Understanding of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards preferred.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Additional Position RequirementsEmployer-sponsored work authorization is not available for this position, for now or in the future.This position requires working on-site near Morristown, TN.Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the facility .Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
