About the Role

Intima Heart & Superspeciality Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiologist to join our high-performance Cardiology Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of cardiovascular diseases while contributing to advanced interventional and preventive cardiac care.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cardiac center equipped with advanced catheterization laboratory facilities, modern imaging technologies, and exposure to complex cardiac interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases, including acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations such as ECG, Echocardiography, Stress Tests, and Holter monitoring. Evaluate patients for interventional cardiology procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care. Perform or assist with coronary angiography, angioplasty, and other interventional cardiac procedures based on experience. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide patient education on cardiovascular disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and long-term cardiac care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to evidence-based medical practices. Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous medical education.

Qualifications Required

DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution. Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council. Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient management skills. Experience in non-invasive and/or interventional cardiology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for patient-centric cardiac care.

Preferred

Experience in coronary interventions and complex cardiac procedures. Familiarity with OCT-guided interventions, Rotablation (Rota), Orbital Atherectomy (OA), and Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. Commitment to continuous professional development.
