Job Description Lead and oversee preconstruction activities for large, complex, and/or multiple concurrent projects. Direct estimating, bidding, scheduling, contracting, and preconstruction strategy. Lead, mentor, and develop preconstruction team members. Partner with operations and division leadership on team assignments and project strategy. Develop project budgets, estimates, schedules, and procurement strategies. Evaluate plans and specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and constructability concerns. Lead subcontractor and vendor bidding, scope review, leveling, and negotiations. Provide guidance on value engineering, cost management, and risk mitigation. Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ensure projects transition from preconstruction to operations with clear scope, budget, schedule, and execution strategies. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have 15+ years of construction experience , including at least 10 years in preconstruction leadership, estimating, or a related capacity . They will be an experienced leader with a strong understanding of construction estimating, scheduling, contracting, and project delivery, combined with excellent communication, delegation, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
