Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Prep and Recovery

Ascension seeks a Registered Nurse for its Cardiovascular Prep and Recovery unit. In this role, you’ll provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac patients, performing assessments, monitoring vitals, managing IVs and medications, and supporting conscious sedation per protocol. You’ll prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensure safety and infection control, and deliver clear education to patients and families. Working in a compassionate, team-based setting, you’ll collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary staff, document in the EHR, and contribute to continuous learning, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
