A well-established commercial General Contractor is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to its Charlotte team. This is a great opportunity for someone with proven ground-up K-12 school construction experience who wants a strong local pipeline, quality projects, and long-term career stability.
Responsibilities
Lead ground-up K-12 school projects from mobilization through closeout.Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, scheduling, logistics, and site safety.Coordinate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and trade partners.Maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.Drive quality control and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget.Run subcontractor meetings and maintain accurate daily reporting.Deliver projects safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor.Strong ground-up K-12 / education construction experience required.Experience managing projects from sitework and foundations through turnover.Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling.Confident managing subcontractors and multiple trades in the field.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Based in, or within reasonable commuting distance of, Charlotte, NC.
