Emergency Medical Technician / Emergency Vehicle Operator

As an Emergency Vehicle Operator/EMT at MedStar Health, you safely operate ambulances and other emergency vehicles while delivering compassionate basic emergency medical care. You respond to 911 calls and interfacility transports, assess patient condition, provide BLS interventions, and communicate with dispatch, nurses, and physicians across our regional health system. You ensure safe, timely transport, maintain vehicle and equipment readiness, follow EMS and hospital protocols, and document all care, supporting MedStar’s patient-first, mission-driven care for diverse communities.
