Job Title: Staff Accountant (US Accounting)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support accounting and bookkeeping engagements for US-based clients. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and managing day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bookkeeping, and general ledger activities for multiple US clients.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support W-2 and 1099 reporting processes and maintain related documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and client requirements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation for client engagements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience with a US CPA firm.
• Strong hands-on experience with Quick Books Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of US accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with Wolfe Pak accounting software.
• Exposure to multiple client engagements and industries.
• Experience supporting month-end close and reporting activities.
