Schedule: Mon - Fri 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Full-time coverage every week. Potential for some weekday call.
Duration: 6-9 months
Setting: Level II Trauma Center. This is an OB-heavy facility.

Duties:
- Performing anesthesia in General and OB cases
- Supervising CV CRNA(s)
- Placing epidurals
Required Procedures:
- Comfortable overseeing OB and general cases
- Able to perform epidurals
EMR: EPIC
Ratio of MDs to CRNAs on a daily basis: 3/4-1
Any times during the day/on-call that our provider will be running their own room? Rarely
Any responsibilities for cases aside from cardiac/vascular/thoracic? Not applicable. Will be overseeing General and OB cases.
Do we have any idea of typical volumes of cases, including open hearts? 13 sites of service. No CV but OB cases.
Is a cardiac fellowship required? Is a TEE certification required? N/A
Is this 100% supervision? Yes
What TEE system is used? Phillips with x8 probes? N/A
Case volume per day in general, and how many of them will be cardiac cases: No CV specialty. Very busy practice.
Do locums do structural hearts? N/A
What is the ratio for supervision between MD and CRNA? 1:4-5 Supervision model
