Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Karachi. The Senior Interior Designer will lead design projects from concept development through completion, including client consultations, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings and presentations. Responsibilities include coordinating FF&E selections, ensuring design intent is maintained during construction, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, managing timelines and budgets, and overseeing site visits to monitor progress and quality. The ideal candidate will contribute to design standards, support business growth, and uphold the studio’s commitment to delivering refined and functional interiors.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with experience creating functional and aesthetically cohesive layouts.
• Proficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to develop detailed plans and coordinate with on-site teams.
• Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with vendors and suppliers.
• Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating completed interior projects, including residential and/or commercial work.
• Excellent communication, client management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead project teams.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
