Bon Secours Urgent Care, Pantops

Located in the Pantops area of Charlottesville at 260 Pantops Center, Bon Secours Urgent Care, Pantops offers providers the opportunity to practice in a convenient, community-based setting while being supported by the broader Bon Secours health system. Formerly a MedExpress location, the center is open seven days a week and provides walk-in care for children and adults with a wide variety of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. The facility features onsite X-ray and laboratory services, giving providers the resources to evaluate and treat conditions ranging from respiratory illnesses and infections to sprains, strains, minor fractures, and other acute concerns.

The practice also provides a robust range of occupational health services, including workers' compensation injury care, DOT and pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol screenings, vaccinations, EKGs, and employment-related testing. This creates a varied clinical environment for providers who enjoy the breadth and autonomy of urgent care medicine. The location is also accredited by the Urgent Care Association. As Bon Secours continues to integrate its urgent care locations across Virginia, providers benefit from stronger connections to primary care, specialty practices, and hospital services when patients require follow-up or a higher level of care.

Why Charlottesville, VA?

Charlottesville offers an especially attractive combination of professional opportunity, natural beauty, culture, and an active lifestyle. Situated near the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and home to the University of Virginia, the region combines the energy and amenities of a university community with easy access to Virginia's mountains and countryside. Providers relocating to the area can enjoy hiking and outdoor recreation, the renowned Monticello Wine Trail, a strong local food scene, live music, arts and cultural attractions, and Charlottesville's pedestrian-friendly Downtown Mall.

The Pantops location is particularly appealing for providers who want convenient access to Charlottesville while having the flexibility to live either close to the city or in one of the surrounding communities. The area provides a gateway to both Charlottesville and the more rural landscapes east of the city, making it possible to choose between an urban, suburban, or country lifestyle without giving up access to the region's healthcare, dining, recreation, and cultural amenities.

For a provider considering relocation, Bon Secours Urgent Care, Pantops offers a compelling combination: diverse clinical practice, the resources and referral pathways of an integrated health system, and the opportunity to build a career in one of Virginia's most distinctive communities. Whether your ideal day off means exploring Charlottesville's restaurants and shops, attending a UVA sporting event, visiting a local vineyard, or heading toward the Blue Ridge Mountains for a day outdoors, Charlottesville provides plenty of opportunities to create a rewarding life outside of medicine as well.
