Job DescriptionAnalyze complex first-party property insurance claims and coverage issuesProvide strategic pre-suit coverage analysis and counsel to insurance clientsManage first-party property coverage litigation from inception through resolutionConduct examinations under oath, depositions, discovery, and case investigationsDraft pleadings, motions, coverage opinions, and other persuasive legal documentsRepresent clients in mediations, hearings, negotiations, and other litigation proceedingsCommunicate directly with clients regarding strategy, case developments, and coverage issuesManage multiple active matters while responding effectively to changing priorities and deadlines
Qualifications2+ years of first-party property coverage experienceActive North Carolina or South Carolina Bar licenseExperience with insurance policy analysis and coverage disputesStrong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skillsExperience with depositions, pleadings, motions, and mediationsStrong organization, communication, and time-management skills xzbcwsv Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple mattersCollaborative, client-focused approach
