Electronic technician

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Electronic Repair Technician to support our Industrial Electronics Repair operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and restoring industrial electronic equipment and circuit boards to component level.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair industrial electronic PCBs and control boards at component level. Troubleshoot power supplies, SMPS, PLC modules, HMI units, inverter/drive boards, controllers and I/O modules. Identify faulty electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, LCR meters and other diagnostic equipment. Perform SMD/SMT and through-hole component replacement. Carry out soldering, desoldering, rework, PCB trace repair and connector replacement. Troubleshoot power, communication, analog and digital circuit sections. Read and understand electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, datasheets and technical documentation. Perform functional testing and verification after repair. Record fault findings, components replaced, repair actions and test results. Support reverse engineering and troubleshooting of boards where schematics are unavailable. Follow ESD, 5 S, safety and quality procedures within the repair laboratory. Work closely with engineers and technical teams on complex repair cases.
