b Overview /b p As Principal SRE at Fourth, you will help accelerate automated, zero-downtime infrastructure in the cloud (Azure) and shape scalable platform engineering across our global teams. You’ll work with Architecture, Product Owners and development teams to migrate products to cloud, standardize practices, and enhance tooling for monitoring and incident response. You’ll drive rapid recovery and continuous improvement while mentoring colleagues and promoting best practices. This role offers a meaningful impact on a world-scale hospitality SaaS platform. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 25 basic holidays (up to 30 with service + birthday off + bank holidays) /li li flexible and hybrid working /li li wellness activities and gym discounts /li li laptop and equipment provided /li li healthcare expense claim tools /li li on-demand pay tools /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Collaborate with Architecture, Product Owners and dev teams to define cloud migration needs and requirements /li li Design and implement scalable, highly available infrastructure following established standards /li li Develop and enhance tooling for monitoring, alerting, incident management, and automation /li li Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation ensuring compliance /li li Participate in incident management, driving rapid restoration and root cause analysis /li li Identify strategies to future-proof infrastructure for growth /li li Promote and leverage AI tools as a productivity multiplier /li li Support career development and act as a role model for best practices /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar /li li Proven track record designing and managing large-scale, highly available infrastructure /li li Hands-on experience with Terraform, Configuration Management (Chef preferred, Ansible/Puppet acceptable), Kubernetes, Docker /li li Extensive cloud experience (Azure and AWS) /li li Programming, scripting, and OOP skills /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities /li li Excellent communication to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders /li li Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-priority environments /li li Experience in Agile or Kanban environments /li li Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li mentoring and leadership /li li team collaboration /li li Terraform /li li Chef/Ansible/Puppet /li li Kubernetes /li /ul
